Dr. Eric Jackman Awards - March 14, 2020 - Deadline for award application

March 14, 2020 all-day
Irene N. Menard

The Dr. Eric Jackman Award was created to benefit undergraduate and graduate students pursuing community-engaged interdisciplinary research in child and youth development, including children at risk.  The award will be granted annually to a minimum of one undergraduate and one graduate student.  This award is valued at $2,000 for each student.

Dr. Jackman is founding chair of the Psychology Foundation of Canada and heads the Jackman Foundation with an interest in child development.  As noted by Dr. Jackman, "I just believe that the more we understand about how to raise children, how to educate them, the better off they are going to be.  We have to find out how to do it - how the brain develops, how kids grow up, and how to educate them best."
